Seit dem jüngsten Facelift profitiert das BMW M4 Cabrio von einer Leistungssteigerung auf 530 PS, mindestens so wichtig dürfte vielen Kunden aber die aufgefrischte Lichttechnik und das damit verbundene Optik-Upgrade sein. Zwar hat das neue Tagfahrlicht-Design durchaus auch Kritik ausgelöst, weil es sich weiter als bisherige Designs von der Doppel-Rundscheinwerfer-Optik früherer Fahrzeuge entfernt hat, aber viele Betrachter konnten sich auch sehr schnell mit dem neuen Look anfreunden. Neben den neuen Front-Scheinwerfern trägt der offene M4 auch die Laser-Rückleuchten, deren Design bis vor kurzem dem M4 CSL vorbehalten war.
Wie das neue BMW M4 Cabrio (G83 LCI) in einer besonders intensiven Farbe wirkt, zeigt uns ein umfangreiches Foto-Set von BMW Slovakia: Im Fokus steht das 2024er Facelift mit einer Lackierung in Toronto Rot Metallic, die wie die meisten Metallic-Lackierungen 960 Euro kostet. Kombiniert wird die rote Farbe mit den vorne 19 und hinten 20 Zoll großen M Schmiederädern Doppelspeiche 825 M Silber, die erst seit dem Facelift mit ihrem klassisch-einfarbigen Finish erhältlich sind.
Genau wie vor dem Facelift benötigt das BMW M4 Cabrio laut Werksangabe 3,7 Sekunden für den Sprint von 0 auf 100, erst bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten machen sich die 20 zusätzlichen PS wirklich bemerkbar. Das gleiche gilt für das BMW M3 Facelift 2024, denn auch Limousine und Touring werden mit M xDrive künftig 530 PS bieten.
